Greetings everyone! We’ve done about 300 km – give yourselves a pat on the back!
We are surging ahead across more challenging terrain in our quest to reach Jeddah – no doubt trying to make up for the shenanigans at the Warldorf, no names mentioned!
Did you like Jebel Jais, we passed it not long ago, at 1,934m above sea level, it’s the highest point in the UAE – which I’m sure you all know. I thought the views were awesome. Perhaps different shades of brown as opposed to the green, green grass of our homelands but still worth the visit.
Now we’re trekking through the Musandam Governorate, Oman and it’s pretty impressive.
I’m looking forward to seeing the famous jagged coastline featuring the fjord like inlets called khors; we may even see some dolphins and other marine life!
