Milestone 2 -Distance: 127.3 km (2.6%) – 9 March 2021
We’ve now done over 125 km between us and reached our 2nd milestone
And not a moment too soon.
I don’t know about you but I thought the Rain Room in Sharjah was fabulous – perfect antidote to the increasing heat and my aching feet!
Now this is what I call a proper staycation – pool, sea and sunshine.
Not only is the food good (must remember to practise Hara Hachi Bu!) but the odd glass of the amber nectar or Prosecco – for those of us who like to imbibe more than just the culture – is very welcome. As is the chance to make new friends.
Savour every moment because the terrain is changing and we’re heading for the mountains!
